Borshoff principal inspires as she leads

Borshoff founding principal, Myra Borshoff Cook, APR, was recently honored by the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. Myra was among a select group of Indianapolis’ top female business, civic and community leaders deemed “Inspiring Women” by the professional female basketball team.

Myra was honored during halftime of the Fever versus Seattle game on July 18. Anne Donovan, 2008 USA women’s basketball coach, was among the honorees, and spoke at the event.

Among her many achievements, Myra was inducted into the Public Relations Society of America’s College of Fellows in 2005, the highest achievement in the profession. She is the only female fellow in Indiana. Approximately 450 of the 20,000 PRSA members are fellows. Additionally, Myra became one of fewer than 10 women inducted into the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame when she received the Junior Achievement Award earlier this year. The Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame was started in 1989.
