Borshoff staffer participates in United Way’s Day of Caring
Children in homeless shelters will be able to decorate for Halloween thanks to help from Borshoff account associate Emily Koch. She spent several hours at the Academy of Hoosier Heritage in Mooresville Sept. 12 as part of the United Way’s Day of Caring. During her stay, Emily made crafts for kindergartners, preschoolers and homeless children, as well as wrote thank you letters to the troops overseas and archived old yearbooks.
"I felt honored to be able to show my gratitude to the many men and women fighting overseas,” she said. “I’m glad I had the opportunity to give back to the community through this special program.”
Emily was one of many volunteers donating their time across central Indiana. Borshoff has participated in the “Day of Caring” for several years and has a long-standing designation as a “Company That Cares.”
