Borshoff Retreats and Re-Tweets
Borshoff staffers bonded through a number of activities at a staff retreat last week at the Indianapolis Zoo. A highlight was a photo scavenger hunt, where employee teams received clues via Twitter. Teams uploaded digital pictures to Flickr during the hunt, creating slide shows that they presented in afternoon team-building activities.
Leading up to the June 25 retreat, employees completed the StrengthsFinder online assessment, which identifies an individual’s top five strengths. Borshoff compared, explored and celebrated these strengths and incorporated them into the day’s activities.
After her first retreat with Borshoff, senior account director Allison Eckstein said she enjoyed the day and thought the balance of team building, business learning and social interaction was perfect.
Borshoff veteran of 22 years, financial administrator Evelyn Hutson said the retreat was one of the best. “It was very informative and fun,” she said. “It was a good one. I really enjoyed it.”
