Borshoff embraces a new kind of challenge

This past Saturday, Borshoff participated in the Indiana Sports Corp. (ISC) Corporate Challenge. More than half of our employees sported new team Borshoff tees while competing against participants from more than 80 Indianapolis-based companies. The events ranged from good sport events, such as the Frisbee toss and tug-of-war, to competitive events, such as the five-mile run and the team medley relay.

While the challenge offered a variety of events for all skill levels, I took great interest in the five-mile run. Running has always been a passion of mine, so when I got the chance to mix my passion for endurance running with my love for Borshoff, I had to do it! I was joined by two female co-workers, and I can confidently say we ran red-faced and whole-heartedly for Borshoff. We busted out three pretty awesome times, too.

The entire morning was filled with big smiles, loud cheers and a great sense of community as Borshoff tugged, ran, threw, bowled, walked and laughed its way through the events. Could company bonding be more fun? I don’t think so.

Employees also participated in the community/compassion events prior to Saturday’s competition. Participants donated to the Gleaners Food Bank or gave blood for the Central Indiana Regional Blood Center’s blood drive.

All in all, Borshoff had a proud showing at this year’s ISC Corporate Challenge. We’re already amped for next year’s competition. Are you?

Competition results are available here.
