Starbucks sponsors several events each year to engage the community and increase awareness about the company's neighborhood partnerships. One event, Starbucks Coffee Company's Monumental Pumpkin Patch, transformed Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis into a large pumpkin patch. Passersby enjoyed the fall weather while sampling Pumpkin Spice Latte and fresh Pumpkin doughnuts and scones. Visitors also received a complimentary pumpkin — just in time for Halloween. We assisted the client with logistics for the event and coordinated all media relations efforts.

RESULTS: Borshoff's proactive media efforts resulted in extensive media coverage, including two local television stations, one of which broadcast live from the event. About a thousand people attended the event.
